This virtual Health and Wellbeing fair has been arranged by practitioners and professionals from the education and health sectors. Sponsored by the Moondance Cancer Initiative our aim is to raise awareness of a range of health topics that can support the physical and mental health of children and adults.
This event provides a range of opportunities for students, parents/carers and the wider community to learn how to safeguard themselves by developing their knowledge and understanding of different health and wellbeing services.
Schools who attend this event are able to access all areas of interest in order to provide learning experiences that can support their curriculum and community needs. In particular, the information available from different exhibitors will benefit learning in relation to different areas of learning experiences within the new Curriculum for Wales such as Health and Wellbeing.
In addition to engaging with many students and staff, this Health and Wellbeing fair also aims to engage with family members. This wider engagement is essential, providing an opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom with the vision to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities.
